Motion & Fitness

Motion and Fitness access is used to improve workout tracking accuracy and read step-related activity information.

If you choose to connect Apple Health, Track My Walk may access data you authorize,

including steps, walking/running distance, cycling distance, active energy, and workout history.

This information is used to display your activity history and statistics inside the app.

Notifications

Notification permission is used for workout reminders and motivation messages if you choose to enable them.

App Tracking Transparency

Track My Walk may request permission to track your activity across other companies' apps and websites

via Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework. If you grant this permission,

your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) may be used to measure the performance of our ads

and show more relevant advertising. If you decline, we will not use your IDFA for advertising purposes.

You can change this permission at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy → Tracking.

4. Local Storage and Data Sharing

Your workout and activity data are intended to remain on your device and are processed locally by the app.

Track My Walk does not sell personal information and does not use your health or location data for advertising or tracking purposes.

Some limited purchase-related information may be processed by RevenueCat,

such as anonymous purchase identifiers and subscription status,

in order to manage subscriptions and restore premium access.

Device identifiers and app usage events may be shared with Meta (Facebook) for advertising measurement purposes,

as described in the Advertising and Analytics section below.

5. Advertising and Analytics — Meta (Facebook) SDK

Track My Walk uses the Meta (Facebook) SDK to measure the performance of our advertising campaigns

and understand how users discover and use the app.

The Meta SDK may collect and process:

  • Device identifiers (such as advertising ID or device ID)
  • App install and launch events
  • In-app events such as subscription starts and purchases (in anonymized form)
  • General usage analytics to help us improve our ads and app experience

This data is used solely for advertising measurement and analytics.

Your health data, location data, and workout history are never shared with Meta.

You can review Meta's privacy policy here:

https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/

If you do not grant App Tracking Transparency permission, the Meta SDK will operate without

your advertising identifier and will not be used for cross-app tracking.

6. RevenueCat and Payments

Track My Walk uses RevenueCat as its subscription management provider.

RevenueCat helps manage in-app purchases, subscription status, and purchase restoration.

RevenueCat may also send anonymized subscription events to Meta for advertising attribution purposes.
