• App preferences such as onboarding status, notification preference, and distance unit.

2. Location Information

The App requests location access only so it can calculate distance and display your route

while you are actively recording a drive.

• Location tracking starts only after you manually tap Start Drive.
• Location tracking stops when you end the drive.
• The App is not intended to automatically detect or automatically start drives in the background.

3. Notification Permission

If you allow notifications, the App may use that permission for optional reminders related

to practice driving or permit progress. Notifications are optional and can be turned off.

4. Payments and RevenueCat

The App uses RevenueCat as a third-party service to manage in-app purchases and entitlement

status. RevenueCat may process limited purchase-related data that is necessary to validate

purchases and restore access. We do not process your credit card information directly.

Purchases are completed through Apple’s App Store billing system and are subject to Apple’s

own privacy and payment terms.

5. Data Storage

Drive records and app settings are primarily stored locally on your device. If a future

version of the App offers optional backup or sync features, those features may store data

through Apple services that you choose to enable.

At the time of this policy, Driving Hours Log: Teen Driver does not use a custom backend to store

your driving history.
