At Japanese Walking Workout ("the App", "we", "our", or "us"), we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data when you use the Android version of the App.

1. Information We Collect

The App does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data directly. The App lets you start interval walking workouts and view your past workout history, and does not require an account or sign-in.

• Workout History: Workout sessions you start in the App (such as start time, duration, and intervals) are recorded so you can review your history. This data is stored locally on your device.
• App Preferences: Settings such as interval durations and app preferences are stored locally on your device.

2. Personal Information

We do not request or require any personally identifiable information (PII), including:

• Full name
• Email address
• Contact list
• Phone number

3. Local Data Storage

Your workout history and app preferences are stored locally on your device. We do not have access to this data, and it is never transmitted to our servers. Uninstalling the App will permanently delete all locally stored data. We cannot restore deleted data.

4. Payments — RevenueCat

We use RevenueCat, a third-party service, to manage in-app purchases and subscriptions. RevenueCat may process limited information required to verify and manage your purchases, such as anonymized transaction receipts and subscription identifiers. This information is not linked to your personal identity by us. We do not have access to your payment details such as credit card numbers or billing information — all transactions are securely processed by the Google Play Store.

5. Analytics — Google Firebase Analytics

We use Google Firebase Analytics to collect anonymized app usage data, such as screen views, feature interactions, and crash reports, to help us understand how the App is used and to improve it. This data is collected in anonymized, aggregated form and is not linked to your personal identity or your workout history.

Your workout history is never shared with Firebase or any other third party.

6. Internet Connection

The App works primarily offline. An internet connection is only required for:

• Processing in-app purchases and subscriptions through RevenueCat and the Google Play Store
• Loading subscription offerings or pricing information
• Sending anonymized analytics events through Firebase

No personal data or workout history is uploaded to our servers or shared with third parties.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

All user data is stored locally on your device. You have full control over this data. Uninstalling the App will permanently delete all locally stored data such as preferences and workout history. We cannot restore deleted data.

8. Children's Privacy

The App does not target or knowingly collect data from children under the age of 13. As no personal information is collected, the App complies with COPPA regulations by default.

9. Security

Although we do not collect data directly, we follow best practices to ensure your information remains safe on your device. We recommend protecting your device with a passcode or biometric lock and keeping your operating system up to date.

10. Subscriptions & Purchases

The App offers premium features unlocked through subscriptions or one-time purchases. All transactions are securely processed by the Google Play Store. We do not have access to your payment details such as credit card numbers or billing information.

We use RevenueCat to verify and manage subscription status. RevenueCat processes anonymized purchase data (such as receipts and subscription identifiers) to determine access to premium features. This information is not linked to your personal identity by us.

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Google Play account settings. Refund requests and billing inquiries must be handled directly with Google.

11. App Permissions

The App may request the following permission:

• Notifications: To send optional local reminders or alerts.

This permission is optional, and the App functions normally without it.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Updates will be posted here, and the "Last Updated" date above will be revised. Continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
