Welcome to Japanese Walking Workout ("the App", "we", "our", or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Android version of the App. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Health and Fitness Disclaimer (IMPORTANT)

The App is for informational and educational purposes only. The App provides a tool for interval walking but does not constitute medical advice. You should consult with a healthcare professional before starting any new exercise program, especially if you have pre-existing health conditions.

• We are not responsible for any injuries or health problems you may experience as a result of using the App.
• Always listen to your body and stop exercising immediately if you feel pain, dizziness, or discomfort.
• Any interval or duration figures shown in the App are self-reported estimates and should not be used for medical purposes.

3. Description of Service

The App is a mobile software experience focused on interval walking. It lets you start guided interval walking workouts and view your workout history, which is stored locally on your device. Certain features require a premium subscription managed through RevenueCat.

4. User Eligibility

The App is intended for general audiences. Users under the age of 13 should obtain parental or guardian consent before using the App. Users must be in good physical health to perform interval walking exercises.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the App only in accordance with these Terms and applicable laws.
• Ensure you are in a safe environment while using the App (avoid busy traffic or dangerous terrain while focusing on intervals).
• Maintain the security and privacy of your device.
• Ensure that subscription payments, if applicable, are current and valid.

6. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the App to:

• Violate any laws or regulations.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or data.
• Distribute, resell, or sublicense the App or its content.

7. Subscriptions and Payments

Some features are unlocked through premium subscriptions. We use RevenueCat to facilitate these transactions.

7.1 Subscription Terms

• Subscriptions are processed securely through the Google Play Store.
• Payment will be charged to your Google Play account at the confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

7.2 Refunds

• Refund requests must be handled directly through the Google Play Store.
• We do not process or manage refunds directly.

8. Analytics

The App uses Google Firebase Analytics to collect anonymized usage data and crash reports that help us understand how the App is used and improve it. By using the App, you acknowledge that certain anonymized usage events and crash data may be collected in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Google's data practices.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, including the interval walking algorithms, UI design, and branding, are our property and are protected by copyright laws. You may not reproduce or distribute any content without authorization.

10. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand how we handle your data.

11. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE APP WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS OR BE ERROR-FREE. MEDICAL RESULTS AND WEIGHT LOSS ARE NOT GUARANTEED.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR PERSONAL INJURY DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE APP.
